They are currently hiring Junior & DevOps Engineers.

Role Details

Position: DevOps Engineer (Junior)

Civil Engineering

Location: London (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Permanent

Department: Platform Engineering

Experience: Entry Level / Junior

Important Requirements

  • Must hold active or recently active SC/DV security clearance
  • Willing to work on-site up to 4 days per week

Compensation

Salary: £40,000 – £70,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, prototype, and deliver technical solutions for client challenges
  • Automate infrastructure and development processes
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for software delivery
  • Participate in technical reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Support maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Document processes and stay updated with emerging technologies

Technical Skills Required

Programming & Scripting

  • Basic knowledge of Python, Bash, or Go

Management

Cloud & DevOps

  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps

Containers & Orchestration

  • Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes

Engineering & Technology

Tools & Technologies

  • Version control using Git
  • Understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL)
  • Experience working with APIs
  • Strong focus on information security practices

Civil Engineering

Eligibility Criteria

  • Entry-level or junior candidates

  • Willingness to obtain DV clearance (mandatory)
  • Basic understanding of DevOps and cloud concepts
