Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, education technology, or related fields.
  • Experience with software as a service and web technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in sales engineering/technical consultancy.
  • Experience supporting technology adoption and change-management initiatives with customers.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in education.
  • Understanding of the higher education sector, including its unique challenges and decision-making processes.

As a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant, you help potential clients determine the right mix of Google's advertising services for their needs. You easily switch from working with advertisers and agencies to collaborating with our engineering and sales teams. Your solid sales knowledge and strong technical background mean you can confidently convey the platform value proposition to both non-technical and technical audiences.

Our Education GTM Team is dedicated to bringing the best of Google to higher ed customers, and we are hiring business representatives that meet this transformational moment.

As a Solutions Engineer for Google for Education, you will be at the forefront of driving the adoption of Gemini, our AI, within the higher education sector. You will be responsible for developing and executing the technical go-to-market strategy for Gemini. Your primary objective will be to foster meaningful adoption that demonstrates the transformative value of Gemini for teaching, learning, and research within top universities and colleges.

A conversational AI tool that enables users to collaborate with generative AI and help augment their imagination, expand their curiosity, and enhance their productivity. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Sweden: kr1040000 - kr1070000 (SEK) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Learn more about benefits at Google.
  • Identify customer business and academic requirements to design and architect solutions that integrate Gemini into their existing infrastructure.
  • Act as a technical converter for Gemini, promoting its capabilities in customer-facing meetings, workshops, and public events.
  • Work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Business teams to provide customer feedback, influence the product roadmap, and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Prepare and present compelling demonstrations of Gemini and address technical questions that arise throughout the sales and adoption process.
  • Take responsibility for technical aspects of solutions to include activities such as bid responses, product and solution briefings, partner training, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources.
