GenAI Business Development Manager
AI & Machine Learning Sales Specialist – European Markets
Key Responsibilities

Identify, engage, and develop relationships with AI Native companies, AI startups, research institutions, and enterprises pursuing AI transformation in UK and broader European markets

Drive revenue growth for Alibaba Cloud's MaaS offerings, including:
- Qwen (Tongyi) model family
- PAI platform
- GPU computing services

Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for AI/ML products tailored to European markets

Build a robust sales pipeline through:
- Proactive prospecting
- Industry events
- Ecosystem partnerships
- Referral networks

- Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to deliver customized proposals and product demonstrations

Negotiate and close deals, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing

Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product roadmap evolution and localization efforts

Represent Alibaba Cloud at AI conferences, meetups, and industry forums across Europe
Requirements
- 5+ years of Cloud sales experience (with 2+ years in GenAI sales preferred)
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, including:
- Large language models
- Generative AI
- Model training and inference workflows
- Existing network within the AI startup ecosystem or enterprise AI community (highly preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
