Senior Product Lead – Generative AI (Claims)

Admiral’s GenAI Centre of Excellence

About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Product Lead to join Admiral’s GenAI Centre of Excellence and drive the development of Generative AI solutions within our Claims function.

Working closely with Claims, Data Science, Technology, and senior business leaders, you’ll define and deliver a portfolio of AI-powered innovations that enhance customer outcomes, boost efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen fraud detection.

This is a strategic role where you’ll:

  • Own the AI product vision and roadmap
  • Identify high-impact opportunities across the claims lifecycle
  • Ensure AI investments deliver measurable business results

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the GenAI product strategy and roadmap for Claims
  • Identify AI applications across the end-to-end claims journey
  • Partner with Claims leadership to resolve business challenges via AI solutions
  • Prioritise initiatives based on customer, operational, and commercial value
  • Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Engineering, and Technology teams to deliver solutions
  • Champion responsible AI, governance, and compliance
  • Drive experimentation, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Present insights, business cases, and outcomes to senior stakeholders

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Extensive insurance claims experience, ideally in motor, home, or personal lines
  • Deep understanding of claims operations, processes, and economics
  • Proven product leadership in a highly regulated, complex environment
  • Experience delivering data, analytics, or AI-enabled products
  • Strong grasp of Generative AI, large language models, and emerging AI technologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Commercial mindset with business case development and investment prioritisation
  • Ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences

Desirable:

  • Experience in Claims transformation programmes
  • Familiarity with Guidewire ClaimCenter or similar platforms
  • AI/Data/Analytics qualifications or certifications
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
