About the Business
We are driving a transformative strategy agenda called “Positive Motion”, focused on greening our revenue sources and fostering sustainable growth. As part of this vision, we are looking for a General Accountant to join our Moeve Chemicals team in London.
The Responsibilities We’ll Trust You With
- Review and coordination of invoices received and processed by MBS (invoicing department), correction of issues, and coordination with subsidiary departments such as logistics and commercial.
- Supervision of issued invoices and accounting entries made by MBS.
- Performing accounting entries in SAP R3, which requires knowledge of the SAP FI-CO modules.
- Critical support during monthly financial closings.
- Support for both internal and external audits, including managing documentation for auditors, accounting entries, general ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Management of customer financial credit cases and review of commercial credit cases, which involves analytical skills, knowledge of SAP FSCM, and coordination with the commercial department and administration in Madrid.
- Preparation of the subsidiary’s commercial risk reports.
- Support during tax inspections.
- Coordination with IT and general office matters.
- Collaboration on projects such as fixed cost reduction, working capital optimization, etc.
- Participation in reporting or budgeting matters for the subsidiary.

What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economy, or similar disciplines.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required (minimum B2); an intermediate-high level of Spanish would be beneficial.
- Experience: Proven experience in general accounting and financial closing processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP R3 (specifically FI-CO modules) is required. Knowledge of SAP FSCM is highly valued.
- Competencies: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail for audit and tax support, and the ability to coordinate effectively with international departments.
