Job Opportunity: General Administrator at GXO, Heineken Contract, Croydon

Are you an experienced Administrator? Do you want to expand your knowledge? Want to work in a fast-paced environment?

Here at GXO, we are looking for a General Administrator at our Heineken contract based in Croydon.

Reporting to the Admin Manager, you will have direct responsibility for all administrative duties relating to stock allocation, transport, warehouse & goods in.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working any 5 days from 7, predominately Sunday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm - 6am rotating.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Processing orders through SAP and handling all admin duties related to goods in
  • Completing driver debriefs and downloading tacho graph data
  • Be required to report all accidents, near misses, and/or dangerous occurrences to a member of management and to comply with site Health and Safety policies and processes to help provide a safe working environment
  • To ensure that information is supplied to agreed timescales and standards of accuracy
  • To be part of the development of a positive, co-operative, and mutually supportive working culture amongst all employees

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of warehouse and transport practices and sound financial understanding and commercial awareness
  • PC literate and ability to work to agreed targets and KPI’s
  • Team working and customer-focused attitude
