The Role
The General Admissions Manager will look after multiple kiosks, leading retail operations during match days. The role involves managing teams of retail staff to maintain high customer service standards, support sales targets, and ensure smooth operational delivery in a fast-paced events environment.
You will act as a key link between frontline staff and management, helping ensure guests receive an excellent experience while operations run efficiently and safely.
This role is offered on a casual, event-day basis, with shifts available throughout the season.
The Responsibilities
- Support the GA Management team during match days.
- Supervise and motivate retail staff onsite.
- Lead team leader briefings before shifts and ensure staff are fully prepared for event operations.
- Support the training and development of new and junior team members.
- Oversee the setup, operation, and close-down of retail kiosks.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered.
- Control and maintain stock levels, ensuring customer demands are met whilst keeping wastage to a minimum.
- Enforce cleanliness standards and compliance with health & safety procedures.
- Ensure smooth operations during high-footfall events and peak service periods.
- Operate and oversee cashless EPOS systems and ensure accurate transactions.

- Experience in retail, hospitality, or event supervision.
- Experience working in fast-paced live event, stadium, exhibition, or venue environments is desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Confident communicating with both staff and customers.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
- Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends, and major event days.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude.
