FUTURESEARCH
FUTURESEARCH builds AI that predicts the future.
About Us
We are looking for people with a proven track record and a keen interest in AI to join our mission to radically scale and improve human understanding of the present and future, enabling better decision making during the arrival of transformative AI.
We are an elite team of engineers and researchers at the frontier of AI epistemics. Some of our most consequential work comes from people who would call themselves neither. We have the best publicly available forecaster, with a public track record in forecasting tournaments at evals.futuresearch.ai and markets.futuresearch.ai. We publish papers, such as our ICLR Workshop paper in Jan 2026, and benchmarks like Deep Research Bench and Bench to the Future. We work with frontier labs on research, evaluation, and training.
The work here moves with the frontier itself, so the chance to do something remarkable comes around often. That also means you will regularly be handed things you have never done before. One of our research scientists made a game-changing improvement to our forecaster, and then created the marketing video to promote it. Our engineers design evals, our chief of staff builds internal automations with LLMs, and everyone runs our own forecaster on questions they actually care about.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We're Looking For
In a world where skills that used to take years to acquire now take weeks to pick up, we hire for what can't be taught. These are the characteristics you default to when nobody has told you what to do. We look for people who care deeply about the collective work of the company, who step up to fill in when the person who assigned the work is unreachable, who stay meticulous when things are frantic, and who bring a proposed solution to every problem they raise. If you tend to pick up whatever the problem in front of you requires, you're exactly who this posting is for.
We hire on demonstrated work rather than titles. The strongest applications point at artifacts. That might be a forecasting bot or a track record of careful public predictions, a benchmark or a dataset, an analysis that changed a real decision, a program you designed and ran and can show the results of, or a tool other people still rely on. The one thing every role here shares is that it produces something you can point at, so if your strengths are more tailored to coordinating or representing deliverables rather than producing them, the work here will frustrate you. Whatever your background, you should be comfortable working with data and numbers, and eager to let AI take you past what your title says you can do.
