Salary: £15,966.47 per annum

Contract type: Permanent, part-time. 20 hours per week, Mon - Fri

Shift times: 0700 - 1400

You must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.


Aramark UK are currently recruiting a General Service Assistant to join our team working at HMP Bullingdon.

As a General Service Assistant, you will mainly work front-of-house. You will support day-to-day operations by serving food and beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back-of-house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.

What you’ll do:

  • Serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to, and excellent customer service is always provided.
  • Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
  • Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also be serving on the food counters and upselling products/sizes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
  • Been resident in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work.
  • The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
