Our Belfast marketplace team is growing, we are looking for dedicated and driven individuals to help us continue our success in winning the EIQA award (Excellence Ireland Quality Association) Belfast only. We have the following exciting opportunities available:
What You’ll Be Doing
As the general assistant within Marketplace, you will be responsible for serving customers which would involve handling cash and checkout operations, moving and replenishing stock which would involve food handling (including meat & dairy products), carrying out housekeeping and car parking duties. You will also have responsibility for ensuring a high level of customer service to all customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join Musgrave Market place, recognised as ‘Store of the Year 2020’.

Hours of Work
20-hour flex contracts available (you can flex up to work more hours a week if you want)

What We’re Looking For
- GCSE Maths & English at grade C or above (or equivalent) or 6 months experience in a similar role
- Can demonstrate teamwork, good communication, and working on own initiative
- The job requires a high degree of physical fitness in order to handle large and heavy cases of produce.
- Previous cash handling experience would be advantageous but not essential as all training will be provided.
