Ready for the next challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience as a General Assistant in the Search and Seal team. You will develop new skills and become part of a dynamic and essential operation within the business.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Perform detailed security searches of aircraft carts and record numbers according to company procedures.
- Ensure no prohibited or suspicious items are found before final mile catering operations begin.
- Apply security seals to aircraft carts and equipment as required.
- Verify that all security seals are correctly recorded and remain intact throughout the process and complete customs paperwork.
- Accurately complete security documentation, search records and seal logs.
- Conduct temperature, quality and product date checks.
- Follow aviation security regulations at all times.
- Adhere to clean as you go standard.
- Adhere to inflight services security compliance.
- Interact with colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all times.

Essential Skills

- Minimum 1 year's experience in catering (desirable)
- Able to work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent communication, team work and customer service skills.
- Good literacy skills, verbal, written and spoken
- Operational awareness, understanding of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and DFT requirements.
