General Assistant Cleaner
Addenbrookes, Cambridge, CB2 0SQ
£28,993 per annum
40 hours per week (Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:45)
Do you have experience in housekeeping or cleaning different accommodation types? If so, we have the role for you. We’re recruiting a General Assistant, also known as a Cleaner, to join our onsite accommodation team at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
Daily Duties
- Cleaning communal areas and void (empty) properties
- Weekly service cleaning of occupied properties and cleaning communal areas including kitchens, lounges & stairs
- Providing a housekeeping and bed making function within on-call, patient, and relative accommodation
Requirements
- Experience in cleaning or housekeeping
- Ability to use own initiative to deliver a high-quality cleaning service
- Practical experience in operating cleaning machinery
- Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workloads, and work on own initiative
- Experience of understanding simple verbal and written instructions and undertaking duties as requested
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
