General Assistant - Independent School Worksop S80 3AP
We are currently recruiting for a General Assistant to join our team at one of our independent schools in Worksop S80 3AP.
Please note, this is a term-time only position. The role is 35 hours a week, working 5 over 7 on a rota basis.

Responsibilities
Serving around 600 students and staff each day, you will help with food preparation and the service of breakfast, lunch, and supper. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals with an emphasis on freshness and presentation. You will also play a leading part in supporting and working within our new Sixth Form Centre coffee house, helping to create a welcoming environment while delivering excellent food and beverage service. In addition, you will support the team by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the kitchen and dining hall, along with completing other general duties as needed.

Skills and Experience
- Have experience working in a similar role and environment
- Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
- Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
- Have excellent customer service and social skills
- Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
- Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 12
- Be customer focused
- Have basic food knowledge
- Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
