Location: Woodsmith Mines, Sneaton, Whitby, YO22 5BF
Pay rate: £13.21/hour (pay rise pending)
Hours: Permanent, part-time, 18 hours/week, 3 days out of 7
Shift times: range between 0600 and 2100
As a General Catering Assistant at Woodsmith Mines
You will be responsible for front of house duties, washing up, preparing salads, sandwiches, and operating tills.

What you’ll do:
- Preparing salads and sandwiches
- Serve food and beverages to customers
- Operate tills and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas
- Support stock rotation and replenishment (including vending machines)
- Always uphold health and safety standards
What we’re looking for:
- Must have a legal right to work in the UK
- Previous experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site and online training
This site has a zero tolerance to alcohol and drugs, testing daily
