General Catering Manager – Kettering

40 Hours Per Week

£41,760 per annum (DOE)

We are looking for an experienced and passionate General Catering Manager to lead a brand-new catering operation at Amazon in Kettering. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven hospitality professional to take ownership of a high-profile site, delivering outstanding food and service while building and developing a successful team.

About The Role

As General Catering Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the catering operation, ensuring exceptional customer service, financial performance, food quality, and compliance standards. You will play a key role in creating a positive dining experience for employees while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the catering team.
  • Manage all aspects of food service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company standards.
  • Control budgets, costs, and stock management to achieve financial targets.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Drive innovation, menu development, and service improvements.
  • Monitor performance and implement action plans to maximize results.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Catering Manager, General Manager, or similar leadership role.
  • Strong people management and team development skills.
  • Excellent financial and commercial awareness.
  • A passion for food, customer service, and operational excellence.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health & safety legislation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
