General Cleaner Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout office/ shopfloor facilities to ensure a safe, healthy, and professional work environment for all employees and visitors.
We are currently seeking a full-time candidate for an exciting opportunity. The position entails working Monday to Friday, with a daily schedule from 6:00 AM to 14:30 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid break. This amounts to 8.5 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning tasks include:
- Vacuuming carpeted areas and mopping hard floor surfaces
- Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies
- Dusting furniture, desks, windowsills, and office equipment
- Cleaning glass doors and windows
- Wiping down common areas such as break rooms, conference rooms, and reception areas
- Weekly responsibilities involve:
- Deep cleaning of restrooms and break rooms
- Sanitizing door handles, light switches, and frequently touched surfaces
- Cleaning and organizing storage areas
- Restocking cleaning supplies and paper products
- Additional duties include:
- Reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Securing the building according to established protocols
- Following proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and requesting replenishment as needed
