Your Role as a Classroom Expert
As a Supply Teacher, you are the professional face of the school in the absence of the permanent lead.
- High-Impact Delivery: Follow pre-set lesson plans across the National Curriculum, ensuring students remain engaged and productive.
- Behaviour Leadership: Utilise your classroom management expertise to maintain a calm, focused, and inclusive learning environment.
- Flexible Support: Provide 1:1 or small-group guidance to students who need extra assistance with the set work.
- Professional Handover: Leave concise notes for the returning teacher to ensure seamless continuity of learning.

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this General Cover Teaching role, you must meet the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS: Mandatory for this position.
- Adaptability: The ability to step into any subject - from Humanities to Art - and deliver a high-quality session.
- Classroom Presence: Strong rapport-building skills and the confidence to manage 30+ students effectively.
- Compliance: A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness) and a total commitment to Safeguarding.
