The business is complex and ambitious with a milk supply pool of 2 billion litres of milk, drawn from over 3,200 family farms across 16 counties. The Group’s Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.
Job Opportunity
Applications are invited for the above multiple positions at our Ballyrashane site.
Role Description
The successful applicants will work as part of our Butter Production teams, supporting the manufacture of high-quality butter products to meet customer demand on time and in full. Operatives will work collaboratively across shifts to deliver production targets while maintaining the highest standards of Food Safety, Quality, and Health & Safety in line with Lakeland Dairies’ food safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Butter production duties — operating equipment, following work instructions, and completing cleaning tasks to standard.
- Clean-as-you-go standards — maintaining a tidy work area and reporting spillages promptly.
- Real-time production records — ensuring full traceability at all times.
- HACCP compliance — adhering to safety, legality, quality and traceability controls.
- Team communication — working collaboratively and escalating issues when required.
- Zero-harm commitment — supporting safe working practices and accident investigations.
- Continuous development — completing relevant training and development activities.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from motivated, individuals to join our Butter Department across various shift patterns. Roles involve manual lifting, maintaining quality standards, completing production and cleaning records, and working proactively with minimal supervision.
A high standard of numeracy, literacy and computer skills is required in addition to the ability to manually lift, bend and stretch in line with health and safety standards. Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is advantageous, along with knowledge of food safety systems.
