General Dentist (Associate)

Sherwood, Nottingham | Mixed NHS & Private Practice | Self-Employed Associate

£14.50 per UDA | 45% Private Split | Established Patient List | Flexible Working

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, modern mixed dental practice in Sherwood, Nottingham, looking to welcome an experienced General Dentist to their friendly and supportive clinical team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving practice with an established patient list from day one, strong clinical support and a healthy balance of NHS and private dentistry.

The Role

  • Self-employed Associate Dentist position
  • Initially Monday & Tuesday
  • 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • Flexibility around working days for the right candidate
  • Immediate start available (or flexible for the right individual)
  • Approximately 2,000 NHS UDAs
  • Around 70% NHS / 30% Private
  • Established patient list with no requirement to build your own list

The Practice

You'll be joining a highly experienced multidisciplinary team consisting of:

  • 11 Dentists
  • 9 Dental Nurses plus 1 Trainee Dental Nurse
  • 1 Therapist
  • 2 Hygienists
  • Treatment Coordinator
  • Full chairside nursing support
  • Exact practice management software

The practice has an excellent reputation locally and benefits from consistent patient demand, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding clinical care.

Candidate Requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Current GDC registration
  • NHS Performer's Number
  • Previous NHS dentistry experience
  • Experience providing both NHS and private dental treatment
  • Strong clinical skills with a patient-centred approach
  • Ability to work independently within a busy mixed practice

Remuneration & Benefits

  • £14.50 per UDA
  • Approximately 2,000 NHS UDAs available
  • 45% split on private income
  • 45% share of Practice Plan monthly income
  • 50% laboratory fee split
  • Full nursing support
  • Therapist support to assist with NHS delivery
  • Established patient base from day one
  • Flexible working arrangements
