Job Description
Location: Mount Merrion Avenue
General Maintenance
General Maintenance is a vital role within our team, responsible for helping to maintain a safe, functional, and well-presented environment throughout the home. Working as part of the support team, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of maintenance are consistently achieved.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
You will be provided with full training for this position within the home.
Responsibilities
About The Role
- To carry out day-to-day maintenance of the building, its services, and grounds in order to ensure that the home is maintained in a safe and efficient functional order, i.e. plumbing and joinery.
- Responsibility for all maintenance, fire and health and safety checks as advised by the Home Manager.
- Maintain a “Maintenance Book” in which defects are recorded by Staff Members. Use this book to effect repairs/replacements daily.
- Maintain decoration of the home as and when required ensuring home is kept to presentable standards.
- Report immediately to the Home Manager, or Person in Charge, any illness of an infectious nature or accident incurred by a Client, colleague, self, or another.
