General Maintenance Technician

General Maintenance Technician – Full-Time / Permanent

About the Role

Join our One Great Team at Haven as a General Maintenance Technician! If you’re a hands-on problem solver with a passion for fixing things, this is your opportunity to help keep our park in top shape, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free stay for our guests.

From minor repairs to regular upkeep, your role is crucial in maintaining park facilities so we can deliver a fantastic guest experience. You’ll solve practical challenges while working alongside great people in an inclusive environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Inspections & Maintenance

    • Carry out regular inspections and maintain plumbing, carpentry, and general upkeep across park facilities.
    • Perform routine checks on equipment and key areas to prevent issues and ensure safety.
  • Repairs & Walkthroughs

    • Address minor repairs promptly, diagnosing problems and providing effective solutions.
    • Respond to guest, owner, or team maintenance requests with professionalism and a friendly touch.

  • Team Collaboration & Record-Keeping
    • Work closely with the wider maintenance team to deliver seamless, high-quality service.
    • Maintain detailed records, ensuring full health and safety compliance.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Hands-on experience in General Maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, or painting (qualifications in a related trade are a bonus).
  • UK Driving License (preferred, due to transport needs).

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience working on holiday homes.
