Leaf HOSPITALITY is seeking a commercially minded and people-focused General Manager to lead one of our hotels.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is an opportunity for a hotel leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, driving standards, and delivering exceptional guest experiences while improving overall business performance.

As General Manager, you will have responsibility for the operational and financial performance of the hotel, leading the senior leadership team and ensuring every department is aligned to deliver outstanding service, strong commercial results, and a positive team culture.

About You

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Previous senior hotel leadership experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager, or Operations Manager within a quality hotel environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience driving revenue growth and business performance.
  • Significant Food & Beverage, banqueting, and Spa experience.
  • Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • A track record of developing, coaching, and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with owners, colleagues, guests, and the local community.
  • A hands-on leadership style with a passion for hospitality and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall operation and performance of the hotel.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop the senior leadership team.
  • Drive commercial performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction and service standards.
  • Ensure robust financial controls, forecasting, and business planning.
  • Lead regular business reviews and performance meetings.
  • Oversee major events and key operational activities.
  • Act as an ambassador for the hotel within the local market and community.
