General Manager - Southmead Hospital, Bristol
Vercity is currently recruiting for a General Manager at one of our flagship projects at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
For nearly 30 years, Vercity has been the UK's leading provider of Asset and Infrastructure projects in the public sector, and an MSA leader in the SPV space. Southmead is one of our 100+ projects across the UK and North America - a site and project of which we are very proud.
Reporting to the Portfolio Director, you will:
- Lead an experienced, and capable team.
- Be the direct liaison between the Trust, the investor, the contractor, and the hospital - its staff, and patients.
This senior role has full accountability for contract delivery, stakeholder management, and financial performance, acting as the key interface between NHS partners, shareholders, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities
- Overall operational leadership of the SPV and hospital contract.
- Senior stakeholder management across NHS, funders, and partners.
- Financial, contract, and risk management.
- Governance, compliance, and performance oversight.
- Driving service quality and continuous improvement.
About You
- Proven experience in an SPV, PFI/PPP, or complex outsourced contract environment.
- Strong understanding of hospital or regulated service settings.
- Commercially and financially astute.
- Confident operating at Board and executive level.
- UK-based with on-site presence required.
