About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be working as a General Manager involved in all the daily operations for your restaurant. Your key duties will include the following:
- Leading Performance - Manage and elevate the restaurant's performance.
- Managing staff, ensuring they have the knowledge and guidance required to perform their role successfully, and inspiring them to greatness,
- To lead by example, coach, mentor, and motivate your team to deliver results and outstanding hospitality.
- Responsible for HR management, including staff hours and authorising holidays.
- Ensuring all food served is of the highest quality.
- Ensuring customers receive the best possible customer experience.
- Ensuring all site KPI’S are in line with the company budget.
- Interviewing, trialling, employing, and responsible for training all new staff.
- Producing weekly rotas in line with the company’s labour budgets.
- Performing daily stock checks and prep lists.
- Completing all stock ordering with current suppliers.
- Operating a POS system - inputting orders, printing bills, handling payments, cashing up, and reviewing daily data.
- Liaising with the Operations Manager, giving clear updates on the business.
- Handling customer queries and complaints.
- Ensuring a spotless and organised work area is maintained, both mid-shift and at the end of day.
- Maintaining an impeccable standard of food hygiene and safety - ensuring all due diligence and food hygiene standards are adhered to.

What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing back-of-house operations. This role will require some hands-on food preparation and cooking.
- A keen interest in Greek Food
- Proven track record of maintaining a high level of sales.
- Experience in managing a medium-sized team.
- Fluency in English
- Experience working in Food Preparation
- Experience managing stock levels and ordering.
- Experience in managing labour costs.
- Experience with HACCP and food safety procedures
- Experience using delivery platforms and analysing delivery reporting systems.
