General Manager
Leisure Centre Manager – Northwest London
Salary: £42,000 per annum
4Leisure Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for an experienced and motivated Leisure Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a charity-run leisure centre in Northwest London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leisure professional with great commercial understanding to:

- Drive financial performance and sustainable growth
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day management ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations
- Develop and implement annual business and marketing plans with clear financial and performance targets
- Oversee budgets, income reporting, KPI tracking, and monthly management accounts
- Manage, develop, and support a multidisciplinary team (including Duty Managers and operational staff)
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, safeguarding procedures, and industry standards
- Drive customer engagement, membership growth, and promotional activity
- Act as key holder and provide emergency operational cover when required

About You
We’re looking for a confident and proactive leader with:
- Strong leisure industry experience
- Solid commercial acumen
- Ability to drive financial performance and growth
Essential Requirements
✔ Minimum 2 years’ management experience in the leisure industry ✔ Degree-level education or equivalent experience ✔ Experience in staff recruitment, development, and performance management ✔ Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills ✔ Good financial awareness with experience managing budgets and reporting ✔ First Aid at Work qualification ✔ Confident IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) ✔ Hands-on, proactive leadership style with a team-focused approach

Desirable Experience
👉 Pool Plant Operator or RLSS qualification 👉 Health & Safety or NEBOSH certification 👉 Experience with booking systems and website updates
