General Manager – Private Care Sector
Salary: Up to £110,000 + Bonus & Benefits
Location: London
We’re looking for an experienced and inspirational General Manager to lead a luxury residential and care environment, ensuring top-tier service standards in hospitality, wellbeing, and personalised care. This high-profile role demands full accountability for:
- Operational performance
- Team engagement

- Resident satisfaction
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire operation to deliver exceptional resident experiences and uphold service standards
- Inspire, develop, and manage a multi-disciplinary leadership team
- Cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, health and safety, and quality standards
- Manage budgets, occupancy, revenue, and business performance
- Develop and execute the annual business plan and growth strategy
- Foster strong relationships with:
- Residents
- Families
- Healthcare professionals
- Local stakeholders
- Lead recruitment, retention, training, and performance management
- Collaborate with sales and relationship teams to maximise occupancy and enhance reputation
- Uphold luxury standards in care, hospitality, and wellbeing

Key Requirements
- Proven senior leadership experience in:
- Luxury care
- Healthcare
- Hospitality
- Residential environments
- Strong capabilities in operational and commercial management
- Track record in managing:
- Budgets
- Business plans
- Financial performance
- Outstanding people leadership and team development skills
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and quality standards
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and external partners
- Preferred: Registered Manager qualification or ILM Level 5 equivalent
