The Victoria is a stunning listed pub occupying a wonderful location close to Paddington and a stone's throw from Hyde Park. It operates over two floors full of charm and character, with a bar / flexible dining on the ground floor. The Library and the Theatre Bar areas are used for diners, larger tables, and small functions, along with a very popular outside terrace. While frequented by tourists, there are many regulars who form a key important part of the success of the pub, known by name to the team.

Turnover is 56/44 food-led. The business peaks with the festivals in Hyde Park, however, this is a consistent business that trades well all year. With perfect standards, the best Cask ale, wonderful fresh food, and exciting specials, all playing a key role along with exceptional hospitality.

We are searching for a General Manager who will relish the opportunity this iconic site presents and take it forward. The ideal candidate leads from the floor, is the perfect host, especially at peak times, building trust with guests and the team. They can drive performance through detail: standards, the right people, the right place, the right time, and guest experience. They value team culture, coaching, and development, and bring ideas to grow covers and volumes without losing the pub’s soul. They live Fuller's values, doing what's right and being part of the family.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
