General Manager (Greene King Pubs)

As General Manager, you’ll have the freedom to succeed in building a business to be proud of, while developing your team and creating a warm welcome for customers. From the moment you step through the door, you’ll lead by example, ensuring our customers and team have a fantastic experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with your business development manager and leadership team to improve pub sales
  • Set the right example for your team, embodying our brand’s ethos to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop your staff to ensure they exceed customer expectations
  • Champion brand standards and ensure safety for both customers and team members
  • Must either already hold or be able to acquire a personal license

What You’ll Bring

✔ High standards & attention to detail in running a larger pub operation ✔ Strong communication and team leadership skills, with an ability to foster positive relationships ✔ Business acumen, particularly in financial management and P&L control ✔ A culture of individuality, care for people, and environmental responsibility ✔ Previous General Manager experience (hospitality, retail, or fast-paced industries) is desirable, but a positive attitude and enthusiasm are essential ✔ Willingness to learn and thrive in growth-focused challenges
