Are you an experienced General Manager looking for your next challenge within a business that genuinely values its people and is investing in its future?

If you have a background in hospitality or leisure and enjoy leading busy operations, developing high-performing teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences, this could be an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and growing business.

We are partnering with a unique and market-leading leisure operator that is currently going through an exciting period of growth and transformation. As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of one of their busy sites, ensuring an outstanding experience for customers whilst driving operational excellence across every aspect of the business.

These are large and complex sites and this is a varied leadership role where no two days are the same. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, develop your team and continuously improve performance, whilst being supported by an experienced senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and inspiring a diverse team to deliver exceptional customer service every day.
  • Taking ownership of the overall site performance, including operational standards, compliance and commercial performance.
  • Creating a positive, engaging and high-performing culture where people can develop and succeed.
  • Managing budgets, controlling costs and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Ensuring the site consistently delivers a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for both customers and colleagues.
  • Working closely with the wider business to support ongoing improvements and business initiatives.

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has previous experience as a General Manager within hospitality, leisure or another customer-focused environment.
  • Is a strong operational leader who enjoys being hands-on and leading from the front.
  • Has a proven track record of building, developing and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Is commercially aware, organised and capable of balancing customer experience with business performance.
  • Has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable customer experiences.
