General Manager
As General Manager, you will lead the operational delivery of the village to a best-in-class standard, ensuring residents enjoy an outstanding experience while the village operates as a high-performing, financially sustainable business unit. You will translate strategic objectives into clear, effective operational plans, leading a culture of service excellence, continuous improvement, and strong community engagement. You will also play a key role in shaping the resident experience, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and representing the village within the wider local community. Set within seven acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, Roseland Parc Retirement Village offers a distinctive retirement living environment combining comfort, community, and high-quality hospitality. The village includes a range of charming cottages, mews houses, and well-appointed apartments, alongside exceptional shared facilities such as an indoor heated swimming pool, gym, restaurant, library, and hair salon. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership and Business Performance Lead delivery of the village asset and operational business plans Manage full P&L responsibility, including service charges, landlord budgets, and revenue streams Drive occupancy, sales, and rental performance while maintaining cost discipline Identify risks and opportunities and adapt strategy to ensure strong performance Contribute to wider regional leadership discussions and strategic planning Customer and Hospitality Excellence Deliver an exceptional resident experience across all touchpoints Foster a vibrant, inclusive community where residents feel engaged and supported Ensure hospitality systems and services maximise efficiency and income Build strong relationships with residents, families, and community stakeholders Care, Wellbeing and Services Oversee wellbeing programmes and community activities that enhance quality of life Ensure third-party care providers deliver safe, consistent, high-quality support Maintain readiness for emergency response and safeguarding standards Village Operations and Asset Management Lead property and facilities management to protect and enhance asset value Ensure planned preventative maintenance is effective and timely Support development, refurbishment, and improvement projects Maintain strong health, safety, and compliance standards across the village Leadership and People Development Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing village team Set clear performance expectations and hold accountability for results Build succession plans and support professional development Foster a culture aligned to values of inclusion, collaboration, and improvement About You You bring strong operational leadership experience, ideally within hospitality, retirement living, leisure, or property-led environments. You are commercially astute, highly organised, and confident managing complex budgets and stakeholder relationships.
