General Manager
General Manager – Law Firm
Working Pattern: 5/7, predominantly Monday–Friday, with some flexibility based on business needs, including early starts, late finishes, and weekend cover.
We are seeking an experienced General Manager who will:
- Proactively manage teams on-site.
- Be accountable for recruiting, inducting, training, and supporting colleagues to deliver a high-quality, efficient service to customers and clients.
- Control and manage a budget to drive financial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure ongoing team communications, fostering internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison to drive operational excellence and innovative menu planning.
- Lead a team of 9, including the Head Chef.
- Oversee compliance with:
- COSHH, Food Safety, Health & Safety (H&S),
- Legal and environmental regulations,
- Duty of care to customers and colleagues.
- Manage the smooth running of:
- On-site café/restaurant operations.
- 13 meeting rooms, ensuring comprehensive hospitality provision.

Required Experience & Traits:
- Proven success in managing a large team.
- Law/firm background highly desirable.
- Experience in mobilisation within contract catering.
- Operating experience in a fast-paced environment, with strong operational leadership.
- Minimum 2–3 years of solid experience in a similar role.
- A genuine passion for customer service excellence.
- A self-motivated, innovative leader who is:
- Highly confident and positive.
- A strong team player.
- Experience in hospitality and events management.
