Elevation Recruitment Group are retained by PDJ Vibro to appoint a General Manager for their site in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
This is a rare chance to take the reins of a well-established, specialist manufacturing business at a genuinely pivotal point in its growth story. The Business
PDJ Vibro is a UK-based company with over 40 years of heritage in vibratory, barrel and centrifugal finishing systems. They supply automated deburring, polishing, superfinishing and surface improvement solutions into sectors including aerospace, motorsport and advanced manufacturing. Part of SurfacePrep, an established global group with over a century of presence in the surface finishing industry.
The General Manager Role
You will have full P&L ownership for the PDJ Vibro division and lead across operations, commercial strategy, people and financial performance. It is a hands-on, wide-ranging General Manager position where no two days look the same.

Key responsibilities for the General Manager include:
- Full P&L responsibility including budgets, margin delivery and cost control
- Leading day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency, quality and customer outcomes
- Shaping and executing the commercial growth strategy alongside the Managing Director
- Driving continuous improvement across production and throughput
- Developing and motivating the team, setting clear standards and building a high-performance culture
- Working closely with the wider SurfacePrep UK group to maximise cross-selling opportunities and share best practice
The Person
To be considered for this General Manager opportunity at PDJ Vibro, you will need:
- A proven track record in senior leadership within manufacturing, engineering or capital equipment
- Experience holding P&L responsibility and driving commercial performance
- The ability to balance operational delivery with strategic thinking, without losing sight of either
- Strong people leadership skills and the credibility to lead from the front
- Experience in quality, compliance and continuous improvement
