General Manager - London
Salary: £48,000 – £55,000 per annum
Humble Grape is a thriving and well-regarded group of wine bars and restaurants dedicated to delivering unforgettable customer experiences. Our venues focus on exceptional wines paired with high-quality, complementary dishes that have earned us a loyal and diverse customer base.
We are now looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager to join our Central London team at an existing Humble Grape location, with this role playing an important part as we prepare for an exciting period of expansion and continued growth.
About You
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven General Manager who can embody the Humble Grape brand. You’ll have a proven track record of delivering strong sales, exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere.
- Natural leader with the ability to inspire and develop your team while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Passion for wine is essential, alongside previous experience in bar or restaurant management.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and be eager to make a significant impact on both your team and the wider business as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest standards of service, food quality, hygiene, and health & safety are consistently upheld.
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of excellence and growth within your team.
- Drive sales and profitability by exceeding financial targets, managing budgets, and implementing effective marketing initiatives.
- Create a welcoming and memorable guest experience, ensuring customers are excited to return.
- Address customer feedback promptly and professionally to maintain our reputation for outstanding service.
- Partner with the Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations and maintain a collaborative working relationship.
- Identify challenges and implement innovative solutions to enhance the overall performance of the venue.
- Develop and mentor future leaders within your team, building a strong pipeline of talent.
