Overview
Enigma MedTech is part of the Enigma Group of Companies Ltd and is a specialist provider to the Healthcare industry. Enigma Medtech currently has five divisions: Enigma Education, Enigma Consulting, Enigma Surgical Support, Enigma Insights Discovery, and Enigma Educational Escape Rooms. We're looking for a General Manager to contribute to the growth of the business by involving themselves in a variety of activities.
This International role combines strategic oversight with hands-on income generation. Like everyone at Enigma, the GM is expected to actively contribute to revenue, not just plan and delegate. Everyone at Enigma is a salesperson — it's everyone's responsibility to sell our products and services, and the GM needs to be just as comfortable with that expectation as anyone else.
This isn't a conventional GM role. We're looking for someone innovative and creative, with a work hard, play hard attitude. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running — quickly generating revenue and increasing overall profitability.

- Working Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
- Head office: Matlock, Derbyshire, UK
- International office: Prague, Czech Republic
- This role is remote / home-based
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally as required

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
