At Evri, we're transforming the way parcels move through our network. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an exceptional General Manager - Forecasting & Planning to lead our network forecasting, capacity planning and optimisation strategy.

About the Role

As General Manager for Forecasting & Planning, you will lead the strategic forecasting, planning and optimisation of volume flow across the Evri network, ensuring capacity, resources and operational plans are aligned to customer demand, service commitments and business objectives. You will provide leadership across Forecasting, Network Planning and Strategic Planning activities, whilst also providing governance and indirect leadership of the International Planning & Service function to ensure domestic and international operations are aligned through a single network planning strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the forecasting and planning strategy across the Evri network, delivering accurate daily, weekly, Peak and annual forecasts.
  • Align network capacity, resources and operational plans with customer demand and business objectives.
  • Lead Peak planning and network readiness activity, ensuring operational preparedness across the network.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methodologies, planning processes, automation and reporting.
  • Provide strategic insight and recommendations to senior operational and commercial stakeholders.
  • Monitor service performance, proactively managing risks and implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Support growth through effective capacity planning, volume analysis and network optimisation.
  • Provide governance and indirect leadership to the International Planning & Service function, ensuring alignment with wider network priorities.
  • Develop, coach and inspire high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, operational excellence and data-driven decision making.

  • We're looking for a commercially minded operational leader with strong logistics experience, who can balance people leadership with delivering outstanding business results.
  • Significant experience in forecasting, planning, logistics, supply chain or operational strategy within a large-scale, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven leadership of planning, transformation and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Strong track record of building, developing and leading high-performing teams through growth and change.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to balance customer, service, cost and capacity priorities.
  • Experienced in influencing senior stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with expertise in forecasting, modelling and turning data into actionable insights.
  • Experience developing planning tools, systems, automation and reporting solutions.
  • VBA, Microsoft Access and database knowledge desirable but not essential.
  • A collaborative leader who can align diverse stakeholders behind a common goal.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels, driving performance while creating an environment where people can thrive.
