Gladwin Brothers is looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead one of our premium, food-led restaurants.
We're seeking an experienced, commercially driven hospitality professional with a passion for outstanding food, warm service, and inspirational leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing independent restaurant group renowned for celebrating seasonal British produce, sustainable sourcing, and exceptional guest experiences.
About the Role
As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of one of our restaurant, leading a passionate team, driving commercial performance, and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing front and back of house team.
- Drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Deliver consistently exceptional customer service.
- Manage labour, stock, budgets, and financial performance.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, health & safety, and compliance.
- Recruit, train, coach, and retain talented team members.
- Work closely with senior leadership to achieve business goals and drive continuous improvement.

About You
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a premium restaurant or food-led hospitality business.
- Previous experience with Gladwin Brothers, Local & Wild Group, or another high-quality independent or multi-site hospitality operator would be a distinct advantage.
- A natural leader with excellent people management skills.
- Commercially astute with a proven ability to deliver strong financial results.
- Passionate about seasonal food, sustainability, and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Calm, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
