Role Description
The General Manager role at REM Associates Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Milton Keynes. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, including managing teams, coordinating client projects, and ensuring service delivery standards are met across executive search and e-fulfilment growth activities.

This role will be responsible for:

- Developing and implementing operational processes.
- Monitoring performance metrics.
- Driving continuous improvement in logistics and supply chain services.
The General Manager will work closely with senior leadership to shape commercial strategy, support business development initiatives, and nurture key client relationships with blue-chip organizations, brands, and 3PL providers. The position also involves budget management, resource planning, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or 3PL operations management, ideally in a leadership role.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in business development, contract negotiation, and client relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams, including performance management and coaching.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of warehouse utilization, capacity planning, and e-fulfilment operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data and KPIs to drive decisions.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working on-site in Milton Keynes and collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in executive search, consulting, or professional services within logistics and supply chain is an advantage.
