General Manager

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and customer focused General Manager to lead our busy entertainment venue, combining exceptional food and beverage service with a vibrant leisure and entertainment experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and has a proven track record of managing teams, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and driving commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of venue operations
  • Recruit, train, coach and develop a high-performing team
  • Drive exceptional customer service standards across all departments.
  • Oversee food and beverage operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance.
  • Manage budgets, labour costs, stock control and profitability
  • Deliver sales growth through local marketing, events and promotions
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety, licensing, and food hygiene regulations
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvements
  • Handle customer feedback professionally and effectively

About You

  • Previous experience as a General Manager, Venue Manager, Operations Manager or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong hospitality and food service management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and financial management.
  • A hands-on leadership style and passion for guest satisfaction.
  • Strong organisational and problem solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety, licensing and health and safety legislation.
  • Able to work weekends, evenings and peak trading periods
