Compass Group Plc is a £20 billion turnover, global organisation and the world’s leading provider of food and support services. With operations across seven key business areas (Foodservice; Support Services; Business & Industry; Healthcare & Seniors; Education; Sports & Leisure; and Defense, Offshore & Remote), Compass serves customers in offices and factories; schools and universities; hospitals and senior living communities; major sports and cultural venues; remote mining camps and even offshore platforms. We are looking for an experienced General Manager to work with us in London.
Location: London (Farringdon)
Salary: £44,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm (with hospitality up to ~8pm when required)
Key responsibilities
Managing Lunch and snacking programme - Lunch is CPU based. People and customer centric attitude and focus. Manage underperformance and coachTrain the team to deliver on clients expectations Needs to be a foodie and able to translate customer feedback into tangible feedback to CPU and wider stakeholders Will manage front and back of house total team up to 20 people Ability to manage budgets and labour finance, always looking for more efficient and practical solutions Present new Snacking options to the client and therefore needs to keep abreast of trends
