Job Title: General Manager : Luxury Hotel
Salary: Up to A GBP 75,000+
Location: Oxfordshire
My client is looking for a commercially driven General Manager to lead a luxury country hotel in Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious hospitality leader with a strong background in luxury hotels, F and B, weddings, and events. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the hotels performance, driving revenue, profitability, guest satisfaction, and team engagement while ensuring exceptional standards are delivered throughout the business.
About The Role
Lead the overall commercial and operational performance of the hotel, delivering revenue growth, profit targets, and an outstanding guest experience. Develop, inspire, and hold accountable a high:performing leadership team, creating a culture focused on excellence and results. Drive sales across all revenue streams, working closely with the Sales and Marketing team to maximise occupancy, events, weddings, and F and B performance. Manage budgets, forecasts, and P and L performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Build strong local and corporate relationships to enhance the hotels profile and generate new business opportunities.

Proven experience as a General Manager within a luxury hotel or high:end hospitality venue. Strong commercial instincts with a track record of growing revenue and improving profitability. Experienced in leading successful F and B, weddings, and events operations. A visible, hands:on leader who motivates teams, drives standards, and delivers results.
