General Manager Operations
General Manager (UK & Ireland) – Global Security Solutions
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and transform our Integrated Security Systems business operations across the UK & Ireland. This pivotal role requires the owner of commercial performance, operational excellence, and workforce leadership. The candidate will drive profitable growth, strengthen key customer relationships, and implement strategic projects—particularly larger, high-value opportunities—while shaping an efficient organisational structure and local partnerships.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Performance Improvement
- Take full ownership of resetting and stabilising business performance across UK & Ireland, addressing gaps in:
- Revenue
- Margin
- Delivery
- Leadership capability
- Diagnose performance risks and address commercial, operational, and organisational issues with clear strategic interventions
- Drive commercial discipline, ensuring:
- Rigorous pricing strategy
- Margin and cost control
- Deal governance
- Assume full financial accountability for regional performance, including:
- Revenue targets
- Forecasting accuracy
- Budget management
- Cash discipline
- Intervene decisively where standards drop, addressing poor performance at all levels with clarity, pace and fairness

Customer & Strategic Account Leadership
- Rebuild credibility with key customers and partners—acting as the senior executive lead for major accounts and projects (particularly those exceeding €1m)
Business Growth & Operational Excellence
- Drive profitable growth, addressing underperformance while ensuring alignment with regional performance goals
- Ensure effective project and service delivery across all operational areas
- Develop and maintain strong operational and organisational structures, leveraging local partnerships and regional support

Key Requirements
- Proven management experience in Integrated Security Systems, with a strong background in:
- Access Control & Enterprise Solutions (including installation, commissioning, and system integration)
- Commercial, operational, and project management across sales, service, and delivery environments
- Senior leadership in business performance improvement, with expertise in:
- Business planning & P&L leadership
- Regional growth strategies
- Cost management
- Strong financial acumen, including revenue forecasting, budgeting, and cash discipline
- Strategic account management experience with high-value (€1m+) complex projects
- Ability to diagnose underperformance, implement corrective actions, and lead change at all levels
- Exceptional executive presence—able to influence stakeholders, drive accountability, and enforce standards
