Director of General Management (Sensor Controls & Systems)
Location: Surrey Salary: £110,000 p.a. + executive car + bonus + benefits
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chairman, this is a highly autonomous, high-impact General Management position for a business leader with strong commercial, marketing, sales, and business development expertise.
- Full P&L responsibility, allowing autonomy to drive strategy, new product development (NPD), and commercial growth
- Capitalise on new market opportunities
- Set and meet realistic profit and growth targets
- Lead through a period of significant change, opportunity, and expansion
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s commercial and new product development (NPD) strategy
- Grow the business in a fast-moving, price- and quality-sensitive sector
- Lead operational improvements while maintaining high performance in sensors, controls, and HVAC systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end-user customers and industry partners

Performance Success Factors
- Proven ability to grow a technology business under competitive conditions
- Strong business acumen with a focus on profits, growth, and market opportunities
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, personal credibility, vision, and industry drive
- Advantageous (but not essential): experience in the electronic sensor/control sector
