General Manager - Truck Care
Truck Care General Manager – Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores
Welcome to Love’s! The Truck Care General Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our high-volume, multifaceted truck care facility. You will lead staff, including Service Advisors, to provide exceptional customer service, manage processes, and execute strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained location while delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining facility health, handling proper merchandising, and implementing effective marketing processes.
- Drive sales of products and services through:
- Efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and waste management
- Oversee proper task execution, compliance with safety practices, schedule, cash integrity, talent acquisition, employee development, and support HR functions.
- Collaborate with team members to train and develop staff for maximized customer service excellence.
- Analyze financial reporting, including profit and loss (P&L) statements, and implement business changes to capitalize on opportunities.
- Address customer feedback to refine and improve the overall guest experience.

Experience
- 2+ years in retail, restaurant, travel stop or convenience store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
- 2+ years’ experience managing operations within an annual sales volume of $2+ million.
- 2+ years’ experience interpreting and impacting budgets and P&L statements.
- 2+ years’ experience supervising and training 10+ employees.
Skills & Demands
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-satisfaction mindset.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with sharp attention to detail.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to frequent lift/move items over 50+ pounds.
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report.
