About the Role

Welcome to Love’s! The Truck Care General Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our high-volume, multi-faceted truck care facility. You will:

  • Lead staff, including Service Advisors, to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Manage processes and execute strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
  • Embrace a role ideal for retail industry passionates ready to make an impact in a dynamic team environment

Job Responsibilities

Operational & Strategic Leadership

  • Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility with:
    • Exceptional customer service
    • Proper facility maintenance and merchandising standards
    • Suitable marketing procedures

  • Drive product and service sales via:

    • Efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and waste reduction
  • Oversee task execution, safety practices, and cash integrity

  • Collaborate with HR functions for team growth

Data & Financial Management

  • Work with financial reporting (profit and loss statements) to:
    • Drive business changes
    • Capitalize on revenue opportunities

Customer Experience

  • Address customer feedback to enhance overall experience

Experience & Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

  • 2+ years in retail, restaurant, travel stop, c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management
  • 2+ years managing operations with annual sales volume of $2+ million
  • 2+ years in budgeting & P&L statement analysis and execution
  • 2+ years supervising and training 10+ employees

Skills & Demands:

  • Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills (with customer-focused mindset)
  • Strong organizational & multitasking abilities with attention to detail
  • Intermediate proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Office (* Outlook, Word, Excel *)
  • Ability to lift/move items weighing 50 lbs+
  • Background & drug screening clearance, as well as motor vehicle check
