Rakuten Viber is one of the most popular and downloaded apps in the world. Working with us provides a unique opportunity to influence hundreds of millions of our users and to be part of the journey that makes us a super-app. Our mission is to make people's lives easier by enabling meaningful connections, from precious moments with family and friends, through managing business relationships to pursuing their passions.
Viber Pay is Viber's embedded payments product - enabling users to send money, make payments, and transact directly within the app, without switching to a separate financial service. The opportunity is to build a payments business on top of one of the world's largest messaging platforms: hundreds of millions of users, already engaged, across markets where digital payments are growing fast.
We're looking for a General Manager who is also a builder and people leader: someone who has created real consumer payment habits before, earns trust across a large organization, and brings startup energy to a global platform. You'll own the full P&L and lead a cross-functional team spanning product, R&D, marketing, data, and business development.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
