General Manager
Turtle Bay – General Manager
We’re on the lookout for a warm, inspiring, and people-focused General Manager to join our Turtle Bay family in Chester.
Who We Are
Turtle Bay is about introducing you to that carefree, island way of life. A Caribbean kitchen and beach bar where the food, drinks, and music flow from morning till night—everyone is invited.
Our team ensures guests are covered with the room’s needs—whether it’s coffee, a cocktail, a cold beer, or a plate of flavourful cutters. Our staff embody the magic and warmth of the Caribbean daily, ensuring everyone feels relaxed and welcome.
We create genuine connections, fostering trust with our unpretentious atmosphere and natural hosting skills. We bring people together, turning strangers into friends and the bar into a community space where guests know the bartender. Our lunches flow effortlessly into sundowners.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
