General Manager – Hungry Horse

As General Manager, you’ll have the freedom and opportunity to build a business you’re proud of, while developing your team and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Responsibilities

You will drive business growth and set the tone for exceptional service:

  • Collaborate with the business development manager and leadership team to boost pub sales.
  • Lead by example: Champion our brand values while fostering daily team engagement, ensuring customers leave with unforgettable experiences.
  • Hire and develop talent to equip your team with the skills needed to delight customers.
  • Uphold and reinforce our brand standards, safety protocols and customer/team well-being day-in/day-out.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Exceptional standards: Unwavering attention to detail in running a successful, operational pub.
  • People-focused mindset: Charismatic communicator with proven leadership skills in hospitality, retail, or similar high-pressure environments.
  • Financially astute: Business-savvy, with a commitment to budget control and profit & loss (P&L) oversight.
  • Authentic, inclusive style: Embrace individuality, foster team care, and prioritise sustainability.
  • Track record & enthusiasm:
    • Desired: Sizeable success as a General Manager (or equivalent leadership role).
    • Essential: Industry experience (ideally hospitality, retail, or fast-paced sectors) paired with the right attitude and growth mindset.
    • Self-proclaimed: You thrive best when learning something new and enjoying fresh challenges.
