General Merchandise Assistant

The role of General Merchandising Assistant is crucial to ensuring our homeware, clothing, and entertainment sections are optimised for customers’ needs.
Eligibility
To apply, you must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Be above the school-leaving age in your country (check here)
- Right to Work: Have valid Right to Work eligibility in the UK
- Shift Restrictions: If shifts involve early starts (earlier than 6am) or late finishes (later than 11pm), you must be at least 18 years old
Key Responsibilities
- Merchandise Setup: Arrange and position products for Tu, Habitat, entertainment, electrical, and stationery sections to maximise customer appeal.
- Stock Movement: Adjust displays seasonally/trend-driven and replenish stock using heavy roll cages (up to 15kg) from the warehouse.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products, promotions, and services to offer expert guidance to customers.
- Flexible Work: Support across the store as needed, including assisting with general tasks.
- Customer Service: Serve customers effectively by addressing questions, tailoring recommendations, and proactively offering support.
- Store Presentation: Maintain high standards for displays and store tidiness, fostering a seamless shopping experience.
