General Operative (2 Positions) – Data Centre Project

About The Role
Pentagon Technical Services is currently recruiting 2 General Operatives to support a major data centre construction project in Lisbon, Portugal.
This is a 14-week contract. You will work alongside experienced construction teams, assisting with general site duties to help ensure the safe and efficient delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general labouring duties across the construction site.
- Assist skilled trades, supervisors, and site management with daily activities.
- Load, unload, move, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and keep work areas clean and organised.
- Support with waste management and site cleanliness.
- Assist with deliveries and material handling.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Work safely at all times, following Health & Safety procedures and site regulations.
- Wear and maintain the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Carry out any other general site duties as required.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a General Operative, Labourer, or Construction Operative is preferred.
- Experience working on construction, industrial, or commercial projects is advantageous.
- Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good awareness of Health & Safety practices on construction sites.

Desirable
- Previous experience working on data centre or mission-critical projects.
- Valid Health & Safety certification.
- Basic English communication skills.
