Job Title: General Labourer
Location: North East
Joseph Gallagher Limited, a leading construction company, is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Labourers. As a General Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various construction projects and ensuring their successful completion. If you possess a CSCS card and are motivated to work hard, we invite you to apply and become a valuable part of our dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various tasks on construction sites, including but not limited to digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Provide support to skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, by fetching tools and materials as required.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, removing obstacles, and setting up necessary equipment.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to accomplish project objectives.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site.
- Report any hazards, accidents, or incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with general site maintenance and upkeep, including cleaning and tidying.

Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card is essential.
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is advantageous.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
